The SynFerm consortium meeting took place as a hybrid meeting on the 24th of April. Biokraft, Cortus, LiU, NSR AB, Q Power and BEIC were represented.
The meeting was combined with a highly appreciated guided tour at the Höganäs facility.
The next project consortium meeting is scheduled to the 17th of May at 10:00 CEST as a hybrid meeting, followed by lunch and the start up of the biological methanation.
The SynFerm consortium meeting took place as an online meeting on the 27th of March. Biokraft, Cortus, LiU, Q Power and BEIC were represented.
The high-pressure storage has been flushed by syngas to remove the nitrogen. The high-pressure storage is expected to be filled up with syngas until the 15th of April. The biological methanation plant will be fed with syngas from the high-pressure storage.

The building permit has been granted and it will enter into force shortly. The next step is to fill up the high pressure syngas storage, from which Q Power’s biological methanation plant will be fed.

On the 20rd February, Cortus, Q Power and BEIC had a technical meeting regarding the last safety issues. The ground has been leveled so it is easy and safe to walk along the pilot plant containers. Q Power will install a cable ladder to have a cable out of the way and an external light source to avoid the risk for tripping in case of work during dark hours. The need for an additional pressure release valve (on the syngas feeding line) was discussed. The racks with gas bottles will be moved slightly to improve accessibility and the earthing cables on the racks will be bolted.
On the 29th of January the Q Power biological methanation pilot plant arrived to Cortus’s site in Höganäs.

The pilot plant site in Höganäs is ready and the mobile pilot plant will arrive on the 29th of January. An inspection by the building permit authority is scheduled to the 31st January.
The next project consortium meeting is scheduled to the 27th of February at 10:00 CET as an online meeting.
On the 3rd January Cortus and Q Power had a check-up meeting regarding the installation of the mobile biological methanation pilot plant.
Syngas should be available at the end of January when the gas leak test has been conducted.
A new check-up meeting is scheduled for the 12th of Janaury.

The preparations onsite in Höganäs are in good progress and the work is expected to be completed before Christmas. The pilot plant is scheduled to arrive to Höganäs in the second week of January.

On the 5th of December Cortus, Q Power and BEIC had a technical meeting regarding the preparations for the installation of the Q Power pilot plant.
All preparations are in progress and the arrival of the pilot plant is expected in the first half of January.
On the 21st of November Cortus, Q Power and BEIC had a technical meeting regarding the emergency plan related to the installation of the Q Power pilot plant.
Issues such as gas leak detectors, emergency switch, connection to the Cortus´control room were discussed.
